NKADD GIS Staff Help Promote Adventure Tourism

NKADD GIS STAFF HELP PROMOTE ADVENTURE TOURISM

The GIS staff at NKADD recently created a map to illustrate Adventure Tourism Activities for the thirteen (13) Northern Kentucky River Region Counties.  The map served as one of the focal points during a Media Event held at A. J. Jolly Park on Friday August 22, 2008.  It was created using address data gathered by Melissa Williams of Campbell County Fiscal Court, and then placed as points on the map.  First Lady Jane Beshear and Lt. Governor Daniel Mongiardo were the featured speakers at the event.  The map and data will be turned over to the State to use in their database for Tourism, and also to the Northern Kentucky Convention & Visitor’s Bureau to use to promote the Adventure Tourism Activities in the Northern Kentucky Region.
