Family Caregiver Support Program
The Older Americans Act of 2000 established the National Family Caregivers Support Program to help families fulfill their roles as caregivers. The Federal Administration on Aging allocated funds to each state. In Kentucky, the 15 Area Agencies on Aging received shares of these funds to meet local needs. The Northern Kentucky Family Caregiver Support Program is designed to provide Family Caregivers is Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton Counties with information and services that will benefit them and improve their quality of life, as well as the life of the care recipient. What services will this program provide?
Who is a Family Caregiver? To be eligible for Family Caregiver services under this program, you must be able to answer YES to one of the following questions:

The Family Caregiver Support Program now has available a toll-free number for caregivers living in rural areas or outside the Cincinnati Bell calling area. The number is 1-866-826-4118.
