Project Funding AssistanceThe Development Services and Public Administration Services divisions routinely offer assistance to communities to prepare applications for funding of community development projects through various state and federal programs. These funding sources include, but are not limited to, the following programs:Transportation Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Safe Routes to School Transportation Enhancements (TEA-21)  Water & Wastewater Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Kentucky Infrastructure Authority USDA Rural Development Econcomic Development Administration Environmental Protection Agency Public Safety Kentucky Office of Homeland Security Justice Assistance Grants Parks & Recreation Land and Water Conservation Fund Recreational Trails Program Community & Housing Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) USDA Rural Development Econcomic Development Administration Kentucky Housing Corporation NKADD has several staff members who are certified by the Governor's Office for Local Development (GOLD) to administer Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and can offer assistance in the preparation of the grant application.
