The Human Services Division seeks to enhance the quality of life for all Northern Kentuckians by planning and providing high quality training, development, advocacy and programs to assist Northern Kentucky residents in leading meaningful and dignified lives.
Technical assistance, training, advocacy and administration of local, state and Federal funds are some of the many activities the Division is involved with. NKADD is designated as the Area Agency on Aging for Northern Kentucky which encompasses a large part of the Division's responsibilities.
Division Staff are involved in many local and statewide activities that impact the Northern Kentucky community. Goals of the Division include:
- Assessing community needs
- Development of programs to meet identified needs
- Implementation of programs
- Educating the Northern Kentucky community
- Advocacy on behalf of the Northern Kentucky community
