Program Description
Kentucky Career Center is Northern Kentucky’s largest and most diverse workforce resource for businesses and job seekers. The Career Center connects job seekers to career opportunities and helps businesses meet their workforce needs. Kentucky Career Centers and access points are located conveniently throughout Northern Kentucky.
The Kentucky Career Center is overseen by the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board (NKWIB), a volunteer board predominantly made up of local business representatives. To learn more about the NKWIB, visit the NKWIB website.
What To Expect
Through the Kentucky Career Center, Job Seekers at any point in their career process have access to career counseling, virtual career services, resume services, job search workshops and networking groups, career exploration, marketability assessment and training opportunities. Eligible job seekers may qualify for expanded training opportunities and tuition reimbursements.
Under the Workforce Investment & Opportunity Act - Youth Program, eligible young adults (ages 16-24) receive supportive services, paid internships opportunities and access to Educational Enhancement Funding. Support services include basic skills assessment, career exploration, job searching, resume writing, interviewing prep, and other customized services.
