NKADD Food Bank would like to offer a huge thanks to several local agencies:

These agencies assisted the Food Bank with the storage and delivery of over 1360 cases of frozen chicken quarters that were received through the Emergency Assistance Food Program (EAFP). The chicken began to arrive in November and continued through February. With the assistance of these agencies and our food pantry network, the Food Bank was able to provide a steady supply of chicken to food pantries and soup kitchens in our region. And yes we still have enough to distribute through April.

NKADD is the designated Food Bank for the Emergency Assistance Food Program (EAFP). NKADD networks with 26 food pantries and soup kitchens in our 8 county region to distribute the ESFP commodities. In FY’10 the network distributed 1,105,218 pounds of EAFP food.
