The resource center is a “consumer” friendly place for anyone seeking information about long term care services.  Trained staff is available to help individuals with identifying needs and providing information about local resources and support services for mature adults (60 years of age and over) and adult individuals (18 years of age and over) with mental retardation.

HOW THE RESOURCE CENTER CAN HELP

  • Provide information about local resources and support services
  • Complete an assessment to identify needs
  • Assist with accessing the most appropriate service(s) or community resource(s)
  • Follow up to ensure that needs were met
The resource center will assist individuals in decreasing the confusion which often times is associated with navigating the vast array of public and private services and providers.  Assistance from Resource Center counselors may be obtained by telephone, email or by face-to-face interviews.  Counselors are available Monday through Friday 8AM-4:30PM at the Northern Kentucky Area Development District Office.
