The Child Care Assistance Program can help pay for the cost of child care for eligible families. The program is operated by the Northern Kentucky Area Development District in partnership with Brighton Center, Northern KY Community Action Commission, 4C for Children, North East KY ADC, Gateway Community Service and Licking Valley CAP. It is funded by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
If you are parent or guardian to a child needing care and are currently employed 20 hours a week or more, you may qualify. Also, those receiving KTAP benefits may be eligible as well.

Child Care Assistance - Motor Vehicle Registration Child Care Fund Fact Sheet Working parents that are not currently receiving Child Care Assistance (CCAP) and gross monthly income is within the following guidelines , may qualify for the MVR Child Care Fund: Family size Monthly Gross Income 2 $1651- 1816 3 $ 2076-2284 4 $ 2501-2750 5 $ 2926-3218 *For families over 5 add $ 468 to gross monthly income per additional person. All Parent(s)/Adults must be employed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Children 13 years and younger are eligible, or under 18 and physically or mentally unable to care for themselves. Applicant must be resident of the county in which they are applying. Proof of residence is required. Funding for this account is through donations by persons requesting a certificate or registration or renewal for any type of motor vehicle. Therefore, applications only taken when funds are available in the particular county.
