NKADD 2007 Comprehensive Economic
Development Strategy (CEDS)

This document represents a complete rewriting of the NKADD Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The last completely new CEDS was the NKADD Progress Kentucky 2002 Strategy. The 2002 plan was updated each year through 2006.

The 2007 CEDS plan has built upon successful, previous plans for the economic growth of Northern Kentucky. The Overall Economic Development Plan (OEDP) and CEDS have help guide economic development efforts at the NKADD for many years. The NKADD is recognized by THE Economic Development Administration (EDA) as an Economic Development District (EDD). The completion of a CEDS is a precondition for assistance under public works or adjustment programs, for EDD designation, and for planning grants.
