“New Year, New Career”

One Stop Northern Kentucky hosted its 3^rd annual job fair and career expo at the Boone County Public Library on January 18, 2012.  560 job seekers connected with 49 employers seeking qualified candidates for their available positions.    Employers attended a  luncheon and information session on One Stop Business Services and Tax Incentives.

A new  feature this year was  the “Ask-a-Coach” session offering one-on-one career counseling during the job fair.  This service was a huge hit as it allowed patrons to get some instant feedback on their resumes and gave them new ideas for their job search efforts.  These sessions were so popular they became overbooked, requiring that additional Career Coaches be added to meet the demand.
