Northern Kentucky Working to Become a Work-Ready Community |

In order for Kentucky to remain competitive for new and existing industries, our counties must promote the availability of a skilled workforce. To provide business and industry with the assurance of the availability of this resource, the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board (KWIB) has implemented a program to certify counties as “work-ready”. Northern Kentucky explored the potential for our region to become a Certified Work Ready Community on February 7, 2012 with a presentation by Tom West, Executive Director for the KWIB, and Crystal Gibson, KWIB member.
