Program Description
Kentucky Career Center is Northern Kentucky’s largest and most diverse workforce resource for businesses and job seekers. The Career Center assist businesses meet their workforce needs by connecting job seekers to career opportunities. Kentucky Career Centers and access points are located conveniently throughout Northern Kentucky.
The Kentucky Career Center is overseen by the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board (NKWIB), a volunteer board predominantly made up of local business representatives. To learn more about the NKWIB, visit the NKWIB website.
What To Expect
Employers work with Employer Specialists or Business Service Representatives to coordinate job fairs and hiring events, assist with recruitment and placement, conduct pre-hire assessments, and workforce reductions, layoffs, or closures assistance. Other resources available to Employers through the Kentucky Career Centers include soft skills training, online job posting portal, technical skills training, and Veterans assistance.
