Nutrition RFP Bidders Meeting Question:
Question: When you open the proposals, what information do you give?
- Answer: Who they are from and what they are bidding on.
Question: Do you need Nutrition Site Building information relative to all the Nutrition Sites (referring to required facility information)?
- Answer: That information should be provided within the Nutrition Site Operations section.
Question: Can I put a note on the meal cost form regarding therapeutic meals indicating the price change?
- Answer: Yes if the cost applies to all meal types.
Question: Can we list more than one rate for each year?
- Answer: No please list only one for FY27. We will modify the language contained in the General Information/Terms & Conditions page 3. 10. SAMPLE CONTRACT AND GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS to include in the 2nd paragraph: “A request to modify the unit cost will be sent prior to the start of the subsequent 2 years.”
Question: Regarding the Nutrition Site Proposal form. If all of the Sites are the same information, can we put that on one form?

About SAM.gov and the Unique Entity Identifier
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced that all firms seeking federal financial assistance (FFA) from the U.S. Government are required to obtain an active SAM.gov registration including the issuance of a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). For GSA, the 12-digit UEI number replaces the 9-digit DUNS number provided by Dun & Bradstreet which were previously used by the agency to uniquely identify organizations receiving FFA. The only method of getting a free UEI number is directly through the official government website SAM.gov (SAM is abbreviated for System for Award Management).
