Program Description
As part of a state-wide initiative, Youth First connects young, eligible workers to training and employment opportunities. Youth Navigators work one-on-one with participants to prepare, seek, and obtain employment opportunities. The goal of this program is to help young people find a job that can become a career they love and ultimately gain self-sufficiency.

- Resume Building: Create a high-quality, ATS-friendly resume that highlights what employers want to see and helps you stand out to recruiters.
- Career Pathway Exploration: Find career opportunities that align with your personality and strengths while discovering jobs available in your local area.
- Interview Skills: Learn how to make a strong first impression, secure a job even with limited work experience, access free interview clothing resources, and build confidence through practice interviews.
- Job Searching: Learn how to navigate online applications and employer websites while discovering job opportunities tailored to your interests, skills, and personal preferences.
- Financial Support: Access transportation assistance and support for short-term training programs, job-related items.

- 16 – 24 years old
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Social Security Number
