NKADD has a two-year contract with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA), which oversees The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). NKADD has procured Freestore Foodbank, a member of the Feeding America and Feeding Kentucky networks, to conduct the TEFAP and CSFP programs. As a result of this subcontract, NKADD is winding down the warehouse and properly disposing of surplus equipment.
NKADD is seeking proposals from TEFAP and CSFP partners for lease of a new box truck procured in 2025. This truck is in excellent condition and is available for short term use for a partner willing to perform USDA reporting, with the costs being only for gas, insurance, maintenance, etc.
Interested partners may complete the form on the following page and return to Tara Johnson-Noem at tara.noem@nkadd.org no later than Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 4:00pm. NKADD staff will review all submissions and provide a determination no later than Thursday, August 27, 2026, by close of business. NKADD holds the right to reject all bids without cause.
