Program Description
As part of a state-wide initiative, Youth First connects young, eligible workers to training and employment opportunities. Youth Navigators work one-on-one with participants to prepare, seek, and obtain employment opportunities. The goal of this program is to help young people find a job that can become a career they love and ultimately gain self-sufficiency.
Services
Resume services, preparing for an interview, referrals to additional resources, assistance getting interview clothing, discovering opportunities based on individual interests, supportive services, goal setting, and training opportunities which can include funding.
Qualifications
- 16 – 24 years old
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Social Security Number
